UNA Now Offers Nonstop Health to Members and Their Employees

Utah Nonprofits Association (UNA) announced a new partnership with Nonstop Administration and Insurance Services, Inc. (Nonstop), a mission-based health benefits company, to provide UNA members with Nonstop’s core health insurance product, Nonstop Health. Nonstop Health is a health benefits program that allows employers to fund their employees’ healthcare premiums and out-of-pocket expenses while also saving on premiums annually. Nonstop Health combines an ACA-compliant health plan from Regence BlueCross Blue Shield of Utah with a section 105 medical expense reimbursement plan (MERP), which covers employee upfront, out-of-pocket costs.

“This partnership is the continuation of UNA’s decades-long commitment to improving benefits for our members and their families. Whether they realize it or not, all Utahns profit from the work of Utah’s nonprofits. Healthy communities rely on strong and resilient nonprofits to work for the common good, and strong and resilient nonprofits rely on healthy team members to give shape to our biggest hopes,” said Jill Bennett, Chief Executive Officer at UNA. “Promoting the health of nonprofit employees and keeping costs low for our members means that nonprofits will have more resources to devote to their impactful work in our communities; that means more food, shelter, inspiration, and support for all of Utah. We are thrilled to introduce this new plan with Nonstop and help nonprofits – and our communities – thrive.”

UNA comprises over 550 nonprofit organizations, individuals, and businesses that are dedicated to improving the quality of life in Utah. These member organizations and their employees deserve best-in-class benefits, and this new partnership will provide a more affordable and equitable healthcare option.

“At Nonstop, health equity is at the center of everything we do. We know companies perform their best work when they are offered high-quality healthcare,” said David Sloves, Chief Executive Officer at Nonstop. “We are proud to work with UNA and continue our mission to foster happier and healthier communities.”
