Ryan Hender joins Beehive Insurance as a Property & Casualty Producer in the Riverboat office. Before coming to Beehive, he gained insurance experience with Beagle Insurance, focusing on renters insurance compliance, and previously worked in B2B sales with Axeon Corporation, supporting clients in industries such as aerospace, defense, and MedTech. Ryan enjoys building strong relationships, understanding each client’s needs, and helping businesses find practical solutions that support long-term success. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stevens-Henager College.

Brady started in the insurance and bonding industry in 2007, with a special focus on contractors. Brady’s family has had a strong presence in the state of Utah within the construction community since the 1950’s. He likes the hard work the industry demands, and the reward of being able to see contractors change how the world looks. Brady works with all types of contractors on both insurance and surety bonding, such as subcontractors, specialty contractors, suppliers, and general contractors-both residential and commercial. He works closely with his clients in providing solutions to challenging exposures, such as multi-family, condo exposures and potential construction defect exposures. He writes all lines of insurance coverages for the commercial and residential sectors, including WRAP policies, both OCIP’s and CCIPS in some of Utah’s larger residential projects and multi-family projects.

Brady made an investment in himself to better serve his clients by attending The Hartford School of Insurance in 2007. He also pursued an Associate of Science degree and Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Utah to better serve his bonded clients. Brady participates on different construction committees, and provides support to the Associated General Contractors.

Outside the office, Brady prides himself on his family – his wife, Ashley, sons Korvin and Foster, and his girl, Maeve. They enjoy going up to the cabin and barbequing, or going down to St. George for a short getaway. Brady also enjoys riding Harleys and side-by-sides, watching sports, and going golfing.
Best thing to do on your day off: Grab Ashley and the kids, and run up to the cabin to barbeque and relax.

Life Long Dream: To travel the world, and experience other cultures

Aaron began his insurance career in 1995 when he was hired as a Customer Service Representative in a local Salt Lake City Allstate Insurance office. He got licensed that same year and was tutored for the next 3 years by George Dickson, a 20 year veteran of the business, and a true gentleman. In 1997 Aaron graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelors Degree in Economics. In 1998 He opened his own Commercial Insurance agency as a direct writer for The Hartford Insurance Company, exclusively serving small businesses. In 2002 he joined Beehive Insurance drawn by the exceptional leadership of Doug Snow, and access to all of the insurance markets that a larger firm can offer. In 2013 Aaron was awarded, "Agent of the Year" by the Utah Association of Independent Insurance Agents.

Aaron is married and the father of 4 children. In his time off he enjoys exploring Utahs many trails and mountains in his side-by-side.

My dream vacation is in Moab with my friends, moving at about 3 miles an hour in a side-by-side, climbing through the rocks and taking in the sunshine and beautiful red rock canyons.

I have never delivered a life insurance check to a grieving family, but I have insured several businesses that have suffered a claim so big, that if not for the insurance, would have been forced to close. Instead, the insurance allowed them to pay liability claims and rebuild after a large loss, saving jobs and dreams along the way.

My favorite quote was first given by Theodore Roosevelt in 1910, in a speech titled Citizenship in a Republic. The first line reads, "It is not the critic who counts..." He goes on to declare, "The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena..." Check it out, it might become your favorite too.

Jeremy joined Beehive Insurance in 2019 as part of the Trucking Specialists and has been in the insurance industry for 12 years. He was born and raised in Idaho where he met his wife, Nicole, while attending BYU-Idaho. They now have three daughters: Taylor, Sadie, and Raigen, and a son, Garrett. Jeremy and his family enjoy the outdoors and try to get away as much as possible to enjoy it. Jeremy especially enjoys hunting and fishing. He graduated from BYU-Idaho with a bachelor's degree and really enjoys relationships and interacting with all types of people within the insurance industry.

Ryan was born and raised in the small farm town of Hughson, CA. He went on an LDS Mission to the beautiful island of Jamaica whereupon his return home he completed his college degree at the University of Oregon where he was also on a Football Scholarship. While in college he met his Incredibly Awesome Wife Andrea, and they now have 4 Beautiful daughters Alyssa, Isabella, Melayna, & Samantha. Soon after completing his business degree, Ryan was introduced to Insurance when he joined Federated Insurance Company. During his time at Federated, he was promoted and transferred to Utah to start up several brand new territories. Ryan now joins the Beehive Insurance Agency as part of the Trucking Specialists.

Grew up watching the 49ers, and of course Die Hard for Oregon Ducks, but just like to watch good football

Brad B. Anderson started in the insurance industry in 1989 in Cedar City, Utah with Farm Bureau Insurance. In 1994, he joined Certified Insurance Services as an independent agent and later became the vice president and partner in the agency. In 2019, Certified Insurance merged with Beehive Insurance where Brad is now a vice president. He works in all lines of insurance, specializing in construction, bonding, and hospitality.

Brad helped start the Southern Utah chapter of NAIFA ( National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) and served in the local chairs twice. He also served in the Utah State chairs and as the State NAIFA President for Utah where he enjoyed working with local political leaders to promote legislation that would help preserve the integrity of the insurance industry. During this time he also earned his LUTCF designation in the Life Insurance industry.

Brad has been married to his wonderful wife Kristine for 36 years, They have eight children and 11 grandchildren.  Camping, boating and traveling are things they enjoy doing with their family.

Brent joined the transportation team at Beehive Insurance in 2020 after several years in transportation-related support fields. Prior to joining Beehive, Brent worked in the Banking and Finance industries since 2004 and has been in Underwriting and Portfolio Management positions since 2008. His experience comes with companies such as Bank of Utah, Transportation Alliance Bank (TAB Bank), and England Carrier Services, a financial services division of England Logistics and CR England.
Brent strives to bring the best service possible to his clients through analyzing the client’s needs and making sure that they are not only getting the best coverage possible, but the best customer support as well. Through his experience in the Banking, Finance, and Transportation fields, Brent is able to bring value-add ideas as he consults with both small and large trucking companies.

Brent graduated from Utah State University (GO AGGIES!) and enjoys attending as many basketball and football games as he can. He is fluent in Spanish, a skill which has been very useful over the years in providing service to Spanish-speaking clients.

Brent tries to find humor in life, which leads him to watch a lot of Seinfeld and The Office. When at home, he tries to balance watching baseball and basketball with attending ballet recitals for his three girls. He is married to the love of his life, Natasha, who has a degree in Culinary Arts and is a private chef, so he is also the taste-tester for a lot of delicious recipes.

Rand was born and raised in Northern Utah and started his insurance career in 1973 working part-time in the accounting department of a local insurance company. After graduating college and a year in accounting he transferred into the truck insurance underwriting department. After a few years of learning the in's and out's of truck coverages Rand joined Affiliated Insurance Agency as an agent and in house underwriter. Following a couple of agency mergers and 22 years as an agent, Rand joined Beehive Insurance in 2003 where he has continued to serve and love the trucking industry.

What is your dream vacation?

I really enjoy England and could visit there again

What is your favorite sports team?

I have kids who graduated from BYU, USU, and Utah: Go Cougars, Aggies, and Utes!

Josh Maxwell is a native to Southern Utah and is excited to continue working in the area. He savors his free time hiking, camping, and working on home improvement projects. Josh enjoys working with local businesses to minimize and mitigate risk through insurance and process improvement. In 2019, he obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern Utah University and believes in the importance of education. He continues to learn and gain knowledge as he pursues national insurance certifications. He has worked in a variety of accounting, quality improvement, and risk management positions prior to joining the insurance industry. These skills have helped him understand the unique needs of local businesses and help them improve their risk management procedures. Josh currently specializes in property and casualty insurance and would be happy to discuss your company's needs in person.

Mark has been specializing in truck insurance since 1995.  He joined Beehive in July of 2003.  Mark graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Economics.  He has focused his career in providing insurance coverage for trucking companies of all sizes by giving them advice regarding the unique exposures related to the trucking industry. In January 2018, Mark was named a Vice President at Beehive.

When he is not working, Mark enjoys snowmobiling and spending time with his family.  Much of this time is spent at his children’s sporting events, especially baseball games.

Jim grew up in the insurance business, as his father and grandfather (also named James Dickson) were insurance agents here in Utah. His specialty is commercial insurance for all types of businesses including contractors, trucking companies, manufacturers, and distributors.

After graduating from the U of U Jim worked as an intern with the Aetna Life Insurance Company for two years. As an intern, he was able to learn the finer points of employee benefits including group health and specialty life insurance products.

In 1990 he was awarded the Young Agent of the Year award by the Independent Insurance Agents of Utah. Subsequently, he served on the board of the Professional Insurance Agents of Utah and was the President of the PIA in 1996 and was awarded the Agent of the Year that same year. Jim has worked at Beehive Insurance since July of 2003. In January 2018, Jim was named a Vice President at Beehive.

Outside the office, Jim’s interests are either automobile or sports related. He enjoys golf, skiing, and driving at the Miller Motorsports Park with various automobile clubs. Prior to his grandfather becoming an insurance agent, he owned the first Ford dealership in Salt Lake City. Perhaps automobiles and insurance are genetic traits after all.

Before joining Beehive, Kent began his Insurance career in 1979 working alongside his father, Dale Josephson, until Dale passed away in 1997. In January 1998 Kent and two other agents formed another agency that Kent helped manage until he joined Beehive September 1, 2012.

Kent writes all lines of insurance including personal lines, commercial lines, bonding, and benefits, including life and health.

Kent has been married to his wife, Chris, since 1979 and has two children (Danny and Jamie) and two grandchildren (Lexie and Kade). Kent loves to spend time with his family, especially doing anything outdoors.

Superman, Batman or Spiderman? Hello- with my name being Kent I was called Clark Kent all through school, so it has to be Superman.

Best thing to do on my day off? Anything outdoors = long motorcycle ride, a nice hike in the mountains, spending time in the desert, etc.

Tyler started his insurance career in 2014. Prior to that he was the president of a nonprofit that fought for safer traffic laws. Tyler specializes in commercial insurance programs and holds three designations. The AAI (Accredited Advisor if Insurance), ACLC (Advanced Commercial Lines Consultant), and the CRIS (Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist). What he loves most about his job is being able to interact with others on a daily basis.

He has been married since 2012 to his beautiful wife, Tai, and together they have two wonderful sons. He is originally from Bakersfield, CA but grew up in the Pacific Northwest and has called it home until recently moving to Saint George. The move stemmed from a soccer game in October of 2022 where he and his wife had watched their oldest play during a hailstorm. After that game, they decided it was time to find a sunnier spot to raise their sons. He is excited to be in southern Utah and looks forward to engraving himself into the local community.

Dave has been in the insurance business since 1999 and specializes in the construction industry. He loves his job most when he has really helped his clients make proactive changes that relieve stress, provide direction, and ultimately increase the bottom line. When he is not working he enjoys spending most of his spare time with his wife and 3 kids who keep him busy with basketball, swimming, bike rides, video games, and coaching softball. Dave is a huge fan of the Utah Jazz, and will never tire of watching Seinfeld! Most of all he appreciates the friends he has developed because of his insurance career and looks forward to creating many more valued relationships in the years to come.

Mark has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, offering a well-rounded perspective from both the carrier and brokerage sides of the business. He started his insurance career in New York City, learning all aspects of how an insurance company is run. Later he moved to London to help lead the international operations of a multinational insurer. During that time, he worked closely with Lloyd’s of London, gaining valuable insight into how insurance contracts are structured and how risk can be transferred.

For 10 years, Mark worked for a local agency where he was able to apply much of his previous experience in assisting clients with their insurance needs. For the last 20+ years, Mark has been President of Hatch Insurance Group, further deepening his expertise and leadership in the field. He enjoys helping his local, national, and international clients secure the right insurance solutions for their needs. Merging Hatch Insurance Group with Beehive was a milestone in Mark’s career. Mark is known for his ability to simplify complex insurance concepts, making them easy for clients to understand. Whether he's advising on coverage, risk, or claims, Mark brings clarity and confidence to the table.

Outside the office, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife, their six children, and seven grandchildren. He enjoys golf, travel, exercise and Broadway plays. Corey has been with Beehive since August of 2008. He specializes mainly in providing insurance for commercial businesses. After completing his BS degree from Weber State University in Technical Sales, Corey spent more than 15 years in sales and sales management for well-known companies like Franklin Covey, Marketstar, Cisco and RIM. He also spent three years as a trainer and small business consultant specializing in sales, leadership and customer service.

Corey’s goal is to be more than just an insurance agent to each client but to become more of a trusted advisor through investing the time to fully understand their business and form long-term relationships.

When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and five children along with a steady dose of competitive golf. To Corey, life is about striving for a balance of work, family, recreation, community and church service."

Kelly is a licensed agent working in the field for 10 years. She is married with 5 children. She loves to run and has completed 7 marathons including Boston. She was a teacher in a former life and taught High School for 15 years. Kelly also coaches Volleyball, and has been Pine View HS Head Coach for the past 6 years. She loves sports of all kinds and most recently enjoys competing with her family in pickle ball. She is grateful and happy to work in a great agency.

Leandra brings 17 years of experience in the medical insurance industry, having progressed from 10-key data entry and customer service to a claims processor and team mentor. Driven by a continuous desire to learn, she recently transitioned to commercial insurance to pursue new challenges and expand her expertise. Outside of work, Leandra enjoys spending time with her three children, family, and exploring the mountains, often stopping at creeks and lakes.

Vicki has been with Beehive Insurance since 2010. Vicki has been in the insurance industry for over 25 years and has specialized in insurance and bonding for various types of construction accounts.

She enjoys getting to know her clients and working with them through risk management and insurance projects. She has developed great relationships with insurance and bonding company underwriters. Over the years Vicki has developed a love for the early morning working hours and it has served her well working with contractors.

In her time off Vicki enjoys spending time with her husband, kids and grandkids. She enjoys watching most all sports, but her favorite is definitely soccer, having season tickets for REAL Salt Lake since the first year they were established.

Tammi joined Certified Insurance in December 2005, at which time was also her introduction into the insurance world. She specializes in personal lines and enjoys learning new things every day. Tammi believes the best part of the job is getting to know each of her clients and developing long time relationships with them.

Tammi, her husband and their two children live in Cedar City, Utah. When not working, she enjoys camping, riding ATV’s, fishing, hunting and any activity that involves family time.

Amanda brings over 25 years of experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry, including 20 years working alongside Mark Hatch at WanSutter Insurance and Hatch Insurance Group. Throughout her career, she has applied her extensive knowledge and expertise across a wide range of industries.

The true highlight of Amanda’s career is the strong relationships she has cultivated with coworkers, clients, underwriters, and company representatives. These connections have been the most rewarding.

Outside of work, Amanda loves traveling, reading, and playing both the piano and organ. She also enjoys spending quality time with her husband while they support their four children in all their adventures.

I play the piano and organ and also taught piano lessons for 20 years.

Terri has been with Beehive Insurance in the Trucking Department since March 2012. She has been licensed in insurance for 17 years. Her insurance adventure started in Colorado in the spring of 2000. In June 2006, Terri moved to Utah. From 2006 to 2012 Terri worked mostly with Moving & Storage and Waste Hauling accounts.

When Terri is not working, she loves taking her snowmobile through the trees, up hills and jumping in the fluffy powder. She also loves taking pictures, going hiking and camping, and spending time working in her yard.

Favorite Activity in Utah: Being up in the mountains, exploring all of the fun places that Northern Utah has to offer.

Teresa Moore is a Commercial Account Manager at Certified Insurance Services since 2005, where she absolutely enjoys working with her amazing clients & co-workers. From 2016-2019, Teresa was nominated and elected to serve as Chairperson for WCF Mutual Insurance Company on the Account Manager Advisory Council & in 2019 was promoted to Lead Account Manager for the Commercial Department at Certified Insurance in Southern Utah. When she is not in front of a computer, you can find her on a hiking trail honing in on her photography skills. She is currently working on her Genealogy with her family.

How did you get into the insurance industry?

Started working for an independent agency in the late 1980’s in Southern California.

The dirt roads in Utah are endless! They always lead you to something fascinating.

With 15 years of experience in property and casualty insurance, working with both personal and commercial lines, Christine brings a wide variety of skill and know-how to the agency. Specializing in personal insurance coverage, Christine has built strong relationships with clients while finding the right coverage for this time in their lives and helping adjust coverage as their needs do.

When she is not working, Christine is at home tending to her garden or out with her dogs exploring all that Utah has to offer.

Teresa has been with Beehive Insurance Agency since 2003. She works in the trucking department where she loves working with her customers. When she is not at work she loves the outdoors, shooting shotguns, hunting, snowmobiling, going to the races, boating, and camping with her family and friends.

Ginger began her insurance career in Salt Lake City in 1982 as a commercial lines rater for Travelers Insurance and quickly moved on to claims. She obtained her claims adjuster license and worked as a desk adjuster for Travelers adjusting workers comp and property claims for 2 years before she and her husband left the snow and moved to St. George, UT for warmer weather. There she discovered the agency side of the insurance business and became licensed in Property/Casualty and Health lines of coverage . She has worked as a commercial lines account manager/producer in the agency realm since 1987 helping to place and service commercial business. Before joining our team she successfully managed a small agency while the owner was out of the country for a year an a half serving a mission for his church. She considers that her biggest accomplishment. Her favorite part of working in insurance is reading policy forms when she has heard someone's claim has been denied just to be sure someone didn't miss something. She has always felt that claims are where we either shine or fade - the rest is just paperwork. Ginger loves her work in the insurance industry and finds joy in helping her customers obtain the products and services they need to help their businesses succeed.

My music fits my moods, so I can't choose just one. My favorites lean toward John Denver, Jimmy Buffett, and anything from the folk music era Like Kingston Trio and Peter, Paul, & Mary.

The Electric Horseman - a good looking cowboy and a plug for animal rights, what's not to love? Who cares if anyone got the girl - in the end the horse got away and that's all that matters!

I love gently lapping waves on soft, white sand so the Caribbean islands wins!

Megan has brought energy and enthusiasm to the insurance world since 2008. She launched her career in personal lines and expanded into commercial coverage, where she discovered her passion for digging into complex risks and crafting smart, customized solutions that help protect her clients’ businesses. She loves building genuine connections and diving into the stories behind the companies she supports.

Thrilled to be part of the Beehive team, Megan brings a proactive, problem-solving mindset and a client-first focus to everything she does. Star has been in the insurance industry since 1985. She worked primarily in the personal lines industry until 2015 when she was given the opportunity to come to Beehive Insurance. Star has been working as a Commercial Account Manager for the last three years and enjoys working in the insurance industry. She recently passed and received her CISR designation and is furthering her insurance education. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, Golf, Reading, and RV'ing in her spare time.

Jessica Holm has been with Beehive Insurance since June of 2020.
She is from Sandy, Utah and has three sisters, a daughter, and 10 nieces and nephews.

Jessica has an analytical mind, so she enjoys things that challenge it like puzzles, math, and exploring interesting concepts and ideas. Jessica considers herself a realist and likes to look at problems objectively and will always come to you with a straightforward answer.
With her broad range of interests, hobbies and collections, she collects snow globes and has run out of room to place them. She likes to play and coach basketball and is a loyal fan of the Utah Jazz since childhood.

Her leisure time is often spent with her daughter, nieces and nephews. She enjoys taking them to try new things and they are the most important people in her life.
Jessica is also a talented cook and has mastered the skill of healthy yet delicious food.

Lisa has over 20 years of experience in the Insurance industry, starting her career with the Agency in 1995. She specializes with her dedication to servicing our clients for their Insurance needs. In her spare time, Lisa loves spending time with her husband and 2 children, camping, traveling, attending outdoor concerts, shopping, watching her son play Baseball and her daughter dance with the High School Drill team. Lisa is a Big Fan of the Utah Utes Football, Broncos NFL Team, and the New York Yankees.

Kim joined Beehive Insurance in February 2021 as an account manager for Corey Ford. She has 17 years of experience in the insurance industry, with an emphasis in trucking. During her career, Kim received her CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation. Kim has her B.S. in History and a minor in Business with an emphasis in secondary education from Weber State University.

Kim joined Beehive Insurance Agency in 2006.  She brings with her 20 years of Commercial Insurance experience.   Kim spent the first 10 years of her career as a claims adjuster for Aetna and Travelers Insurance Companies in Denver, Colorado.   The highlights of her claim service found her as a dedicated claims adjuster for the building of the massive Denver International Airport in 1991 as well as a catastrophe adjuster serving during Hurricane Andrew in 1992.  Although her roots are deep in claims, Kim found new success selling insurance in 2003.  She joined Progressive Insurance Company at that time as a customer service manager and quickly found a love of the "happy" side of insurance.  After relocating to Salt Lake City in 2006, she found Beehive Insurance Agency and feels like she is finally home.  The professionalism, reputation and strong moral character of Beehive Employees will keep her here indefinitely.  Currently, she is happy to be the account manager for Cory Payne, as well as handling Beehive's Small Business Unit.

When Kim isn't thinking, talking and breathing insurance, she enjoys spending time with her 2 teenage kids.  Kim enjoys cooking, entertaining, laughing with family and friends, and cleaning her home!  She loves to be outdoors and enjoys walking her dogs each night.  The "Life is Good" sign hanging prominently above her desk is not just a statement but a powerful conviction that guides her through each day.

Lindsey fell into insurance rather by accident in the summer of 2018, it stuck and she couldn't be happier about it. She's constantly learning new things every day and working towards her insurance designations. Before the fall into her current role as an insurance account manager, she worked as a medical secretary for the University of Utah School of Medicine's pediatric specialties. With that experience, she brought her love of humanity and caring demeanor.

Lindsey is married to an all-around awesome man and is the mother to three crazy kids. When she's not working or shuffling kids to various soccer activities, she can be found laughing and having fun with her family, meditating, being creative and making new things (or restoring the old), practicing Reiki on herself and others, and spending time studying whatever has caught her attention.

Before entering the world of insurance I worked for the State of Utah for 6 years, my last position there was a Long Term Disability Claims Manager. I have my B.S. from the University of Utah in Sociology with a certificate in Criminology. (GO UTES!) I hope to one day go back to school for my MBA.

My most important role is being a mom to three beautiful children and most of my free time is spent at the soccer field cheering on my two oldest.

Megan has been in the insurance industry for nearly 2 years, previously working with a local insurance agency as an account manager. She assisted clients in personal and commercial lines but has found her true passion within assisting businesses with their insurances needs and acting as an advisor.
When not at work, Megan spends all the time she can with her 5-year-old daughter, Kathryn. In the summertime, they love to hike together and take pictures of their adventures. In the winter when they want to escape the cold, Megan and Kathryn enjoy cozying up inside with some fun arts and crafts to later hang on the fridge at home.

Gretchen started with Beehive Insurance in 2003, working with Mark Austin and Jim Dickson in the trucking department. She graduated from Murray High School in 1978, then went to Casper College and graduated with an associates degree in business in 1982. Got married in 1983 and moved back to Utah with her husband. Graduated from the University of Utah in 1990 with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Communications. Worked for six years at UNI at the University of Utah working with adolescence. Also was part of the "Last Chance" program. She has no children but is not shy calling her dogs her furry, four-legged children. Also willing to call any child hers if they let her.

Little known facts about you...

I swam in Junior High and High School and got a scholarship to swim for Arizona State, but lost it, due to dislocating shoulder in a ski accident. Both sports were a great passion for many years.

How did you get into the insurance industry?

I was working at the University of Utah and at Mervyn's department store when my Dad (Larry McCain) came to see me and asked me to come work for him. I told him I really had no intention of working in the insurance field, but he needed the help and it was a way to reconnect with my dad. I started working with him in 1994 when he eventually sold his practice to First Security and then later to Wells Fargo (Accordia) and I was sold with the agency. That's when we met up with the old Affiliated Insurance gang and we all went to Accordia. Later my Dad retired and Mark Austin bought his book and we sold or merged with Beehive, and here I still am

As a second-generation Beehive Insurance employee, "Insurance is in her blood." Before Sarah joined the team, she was a caregiver for an elderly woman and helped her client's family run their home. Dayna has been with Beehive Insurance for over 15 years and she brings 30 years of experience with her. She grew up around her dad who was a State Farm agent, so the apple didn’t fall to far from the tree. She specializes in truck insurance as an account manager working for a great agent, Mark Austin. Her past work experience was with State Farm Claims and she was also an Underwriter. Dayna is licensed in property, casualty, and health. She thinks she has a special degree in dry humor.

Dayna went to LDS Business College. She also has an ACSR (Accredited Customer Service Representative) designation along with her CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation. She also has the Star designation and a CSR designation with Great West.

Dayna grew up in Wyoming just 10 miles from the border of South Dakota. She was close to Sturgis which is motorcycle country and close to Mt Rushmore. She enjoys her family especially her 6 grandkids, motorcycles, going to the gym, going to concerts and meeting new people.

In her free time, Danielle enjoys golfing, singing, jamming on the ukulele, and honing her mad skills as a self-designated carpenter.

Becky joined Certified Insurance in October 2008. She worked personal lines for 8 yrs., then moved to North Dakota for a year. Upon returning to Utah, Becky came back to work at Certified Insurance where she started working in the commercial department and backing up personal lines. Becky has enjoyed learning different aspects of the insurance world.

When he is not working, Spencer enjoys spending time with his family.

"Todd is a second generation Employee Benefits Specialist. Prior to joining Beehive, he worked with his lifelong mentor and father, Dallas Valentine in Colorado where he started in the industry. His work ethic, personal commitment to excellence, and creative problem-solving skills are a direct reflection of the training he enjoyed while working with his Father. Todd opened the Employee Benefits department for Beehive in 2009, after working his way up to Vice President of Employee Benefits for Willis of Colorado.

Mike has been with Beehive insurance since August 2013, but it not new to healthcare. Before joining Beehive, Mike worked as a Sales Director for eight-plus years with a local medical software company. Mike graduated from Brigham Young University in 2005 with a major in Psychology. Mike is a second generation Employee Benefit Specialist and was recruited to Beehive by his brother, Todd. Growing up seeing his Dad work in the insurance industry he swore to take a different path but like so often happens he was sucked in and has loved every minute. Mike works closely with several local Utah based Associations including the UNA, UMA, AGC, UTA & the UACPA. Beehive has partnered with these Associations to form and manage their medical, dental, vision, life, disability and telehealth risk pools. With a personal commitment to exceptional customer experiences, Mike and his team work tirelessly to meet the growing needs of their clients and to be a valuable business consultant for all things benefits.

Joanie joined Beehive Insurance Agency in 2018. She brings with her over 20 years of experience in the Health Insurance Industry with specific attention to client relations. Her experience gives her the ability to easily relate to the struggles HR Managers face and helps to alleviate the pressures that surround health insurance. Joanie’s experience along with a broad-based knowledge in the health care industry allows her to resolve client concerns with a quick, professional resolution.

Tammy Jensen is the Director, Client Services at Beehive Insurance, an insurance agency with over 30 years of experience. She has a reputation of caring for employer groups by saving them and their employees money and making sure they receive the best services. Her passion is data analytics and finding ways to help Beehive Insurance clients lower their insurance costs while providing quality products.

Tammy provides a complete understanding of plans, claims processes, and underwriting. Currently, she oversees employee benefits compliance, monitors self-funded employers’ claims, and audits claims over $50,000 for errors and duplications. Tammy does this while working with carriers to lower cost solutions and provide help for them, ensuring they are doing what’s best for the member. Additionally, she works closely with the insurance sales agents.

Tammy graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business from Washington State University. Tammy has proven her capabilities throughout her career and demonstrates this every day to her Beehive Insurance clients. No group is too small or too large for her to help.

Tammy has been on the Utah Health Underwriters board, is currently part of the Architectural Control Committee in her community. When she is not working, you can find her enjoying time with her family and friends.

Spencer has been in the Employee Benefits industry since 2020. He started out on the account management side where he learned to solve problems in the never-ending problem filled world of insurance. He loves to look at the whole picture and help collaborate and consult on best ways to make impacts not just in the short term, but over many years. Numbers and patterns have always come naturally for him; this helps him relate to the financial impact of a benefits package. Spencer is not afraid to fight for his clients. At the end of the day, he does his best to be a good person by just doing the right thing.

He married his high school sweetheart in 2012 and is a part time chauffeur to his 3 kids. His weekends consist of either some sort of sporting event or dance competition. When he is not at work, Spencer tends to spoil a good walk by playing golf. He loves to play pickleball and coach little league baseball. He's hopelessly obsessed with Dr. Pepper and college football.

Stephanie has been with Beehive since November 2010.  She came to us with 13 years of Administrative Assistance experience and loves the wonderful atmosphere here at Beehive!  She attended Brigham Young University where she was an art and graphic design major.  She loves the fast pace of the front office and enjoys keeping things organized.

Stephanie’s greatest accomplishments are her 5 children, Christopher, Douglas, Spencer, Emily, and Aubrey; and also her 4 sweet granddaughters, Braxtyn, Avalyn, Edyn, and Chiara…twin baby boys will be arriving shortly!  She loves reading, working in her garden, and staying active - hiking, biking, rock climbing, paintballing…

Brook came to Beehive in 2015 after working for 5 years in Human Resources where she earned the PHR and SHRM-CP certifications.  Her love of languages led her to receive her B.A. from the University of Utah in Linguistics.  She has studied Cantonese, Mandarin, French, Italian, and Spanish; however, she can't speak any of them very well anymore.

Mandy has been at Beehive Insurance since June 2019. She loves working with an amazing team and has enjoyed learning about the insurance industry. Michelle is a temporary Assistant Account Manager, assisting with Open Enrollment season for the benefits department. Michelle has been in the benefits industry more than 10 years. Training for, and completing my very first 'Mud Run' in 2010.  Although the real accomplishment was just being able to walk afterward!

Allie joined Beehive Insurance in September 2020 in the midst of a global pandemic as the new receptionist and has since moved to Administrative Assistant. Although she previously came from the solar world, she has found a new joy in learning more about insurance and working with the other members at Beehive.

Natalie joined the Beehive Team in the Fall of 2019 shortly after graduating from Utah Valley University with a Bachelors's in Art and Design and a minor in Art History. Previous to accepting her position at Beehive she worked as a graphic design intern for Clyde Companies. She loves all aspects of graphic design, especially editorial design and typography. When she isn't working Natalie enjoys traveling, decorating cakes and cupcakes, golfing, watching movies, sports, and hanging out with family and friends.

Charice began her career with Beehive in October of 2021. She previously worked for Intercontinental Hotels Group for just over 20 years as their Accounting Specialist. This gave her a strong background to bring to the table. She works closely with the Accounting Manager making sure all your accounting needs are taken care of!

Charice enjoys being outside with her family, reading, cross stitching, & finding cool new destinations to travel to. She has a love for nature, especially water & large trees. She feels music in her soul & you can often find her at a concert!

Ran off to Puerto Rico with a group of girlfriends! It was amazing!

David has been working with Beehive and Clyde Companies since August of 2022.  He works in the accounting department as the Beehive Controller. He also does accounting work for the Clyde leasing company and Clyde Companies.

Before coming to work at Beehive and Clyde companies, he did accounting for Nu Skin Enterprises in their US market company, their corporate entities, and one of their startup companies called Grove Technologies.

David obtained his college education at Utah Valley University and University of Phoenix. David worked hard and obtained his CPA license.

David has been married to his wife, Carrie for almost 23 years. They have five children.  One girl who is the oldest and then four boys. Needless to say, we have a very active house.  We have a lot of fun together and love each other very much.

David enjoys spending time with his family, working on his parents family farm and riding horses with my kids, and the rest of his extended family. He loves camping, and spending times in the great outdoors. He likes to spend time in the local mountains, Southern Utah and Yellowstone.

Baylie joined Beehive Insurance in September 2025 as the receptionist. She’s the friendly face that welcomes visitors and helps keep the front desk running smoothly—from greeting guests with a smile to staying organized behind the scenes.

When she’s not at work, Baylie enjoys spending time with her kids and family, traveling, baking, and playing games.
